Course overview
Analytical thinking is the ability (skill/competency) to identify patterns in information and to break complex problems into manageable parts that pose problems or challenges that can be solved individually. It is interesting to note that this competency falls under the decision-making acumen of SAICA’s CA2025 post-qualification competency framework and is viewed as an enabling and future competency. This affirms that professionals with the ability to think analytically, will be in great demand not only at present, but especially in the future world of work where complexity of problems will increase and the ability to analytically solve such, will be vital. It is therefore very important, in preparation and anticipation, to invest in yourself as a professional now and develop this skill, if you have not done so already.
