Course overview
Employees respond to the approval of others, which is expressed through recognition of their good work, because it confirms their work is valued by others. When employees and their work are valued, their satisfaction and productivity rise, and they are motivated to maintain and even improve on their good work. But for recognition to be meaningful and have impact, it needs to be more than a pat on the back, or a quick “well done” said in passing. In this course we guide you in giving reinforcing recognition – recognition that means something and that makes a difference.

This course forms part of the Constructive conversations series.
