Course overview
It has never been a less desirable position to be in than
having to make important life-changing decisions in abnormally uncertain times.
It is very convenient to leave the decision-making to the “powers-that-be”, but
what if you find yourself in the position where the buck stops with you – stick
your neck out and make the decision… or else!
There is an increased focus on the ability of the accounting professional to make decisions during uncertain times. How do I, however, manage uncertainty despite incomplete information, unknown factors, and/or unpredicted events?
In this live CPD event, we talk about how to manage uncertainty in such a way that the most correct and appropriate decisions are still made, despite its existence. In joining this event, you will be developing the following professional competencies:
Main competency group: Technical competencies · Sub-competency group: Decision-making to increase, decrease or transform capitals
o Specific competency: Managing uncertainty
Main competency group: Enabling and future competencies · Sub-competency group: Decision-making acumen
