Course overview
“Value is in the eye of the beholder!”. A ‘business valuation’, also known as a company valuation, is the process of determining the economic value of a business. During the valuation process, all areas of a business are analysed to determine its worth and the worth of its departments or units. A company valuation can be used to determine the fair value of a business for a variety of reasons, including sale value, establishing partner ownership, taxation, and even divorce proceedings! Owners will often turn to professional business evaluators for an objective estimate of the value of the business. Professionals in the accounting, taxation, finance, and business spheres are often approached to act as such business evaluators. Do you want to be in a position to decline earning potential just because your basic knowledge on business valuation principles have not been dusted off in a while? We thought so!
