The International Standard on Related Services (ISRS) 4410 details all the requirements that should be adhered to when accepting engagements to perform compilations of annual financial statements. Various professional persons fulfil these engagements but focus merely on the financial reporting framework to prepare a set of annual financial statements for their clients, being either based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or the IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs).
