Course overview
Past us are the days where the primary (and sole) objective of an entity was defined as ‘maximising shareholder wealth’. Let’s be realistic – that objective has anything but disappeared, but a much more significant focus is now placed on the sustainable value created by an organisation for a whole range of business stakeholders, not at all limited to the shareholders. This requires the entity to not only carefully ascertain who their stakeholders are, but also very delicately manage the relationship with and value creation processes for their identified stakeholders, solidified by high quality stakeholder communication processes.

In this live CPD event, we delve into the delicate intricacies of healthy stakeholder management and sustainable stakeholder relationship-building. We ask the important questions – what are those elements stakeholders are passionate about? How can stakeholder communication processes be improved? And ultimately, what are the responsibilities of the organisation in respect of its status as a ‘business citizen’ in South Africa?
