Course overview
We live in an era where people are no longer treated like commodities, and rightly so! Yet, people management is still a responsibility that many, if not most, professionals must perform to achieve their individual goals as well as those of the larger organisation.

The culture around ‘people’ is often a very complex, and finely balanced juggling act, which requires a deep understanding of the human mind, and many other important aspects that directly impact on how people behave when they are ‘managed’ by another person. Think, for example, about the concept of micro-management, and how negative the perception around such usually is. It is therefore of the utmost importance that professionals keep the key elements of a successful people management strategy in mind when motivating their peers, colleagues, subordinates and even their seniors to achieve their identified goals and ambitions.

In this live CPD event, we unpack the key elements to such a successful strategy supporting healthy people management and in joining this event, you will be developing the following professional competencies:
Main competency group: Enabling and future competencies
• Sub-competency group: Relational acumen
o Specific competency: Managing others
