Course overview
The South African accountancy profession continues to operate under intense public scrutiny, among others, making unwavering ethical conduct non-negotiable. SAICA members are required to annually confirm to SAICA in their CPD compliance declaration that they have informed themselves of all updates and amendments to the SAICA Code of Professional Conduct (CPC) for the relevant CPD period (usually the last 12 months leading up to the declaration). Our 2026 Annual CPC Update is designed specifically to support members in meeting this mandatory SAICA requirement.
This focused session provides a clear, practical walk-through of the latest amendments to the SAICA CPC, including the significant revisions (expected) for 2026. Attendees will gain essential insight into how these changes affect their professional responsibilities, ethical decision-making, and day-to-day application of the Code. By attending, participants will not only meet their annual declaration obligation but also strengthen their confidence in applying a Code that remains central to protecting the public interest, upholding trust, and safeguarding the reputation of the profession. Join us for this critical update — an indispensable checkpoint for every SAICA member committed to ethical excellence!
