Course overview
Accounting,
finance, tax, and other business professionals are constantly challenged by
change. The profession is experiencing pressure from different sources and
angles, having its stability, credibility, and overall professional image challenged
worldwide. Whilst restoring trust in the profession through extensive
reskilling is highest priority, it is important not to forget that the
profession consists of nothing other than its “PEOPLE” – i.e., human beings.
The members of these professions experience the very same pressures of
credibility, remaining fit and ready for the future world of work, and ensuring
that their actual intelligence outruns the rapid developments in artificial
intelligence (AI) and technology until they can safely retire. It does not
require a highly educated psychiatrist to know that professional (and personal)
burnout will be prevalent in these professions.
In this learning session, Mark Sham, founder of Suits & Sneakers, discusses the early signs of professional burnout, and how to be on the lookout for these signs in oneself, as a professional person, but also in others, such as colleagues, peers, and those who work under our supervision. Accounting professionals are business leaders, and part of leadership is caring about those we work with, through leading by example. Hence our own mental health is vital in ensuring the mental health of the teams we work in. Join CPD Campus for this very interesting session with Mark, a hugely popular professional speaker on the topic.
